The 10-ton boom truck is the most-booked truck-mounted crane on sites, because it is the first size whose deck, about 6.5–7.5 m long, takes a 20-ft container or a standard porta-cabin. But the 10 t is its maximum only 2–3 m from the crane column: at 5 m it typically lifts about 4–5 t, at 10 m roughly 1.5–2.5 t, and at 12–15 m usually under 2 t. It rides on a 6×4 truck with a payload of roughly 10–14 t.

For an accurate quote, send three figures: the weight of the heaviest piece, the horizontal distance from where the truck parks to the drop point, and the drop height if it goes over a roof or wall. The truck is about 10 m long and needs roughly 6 m of width for its stabilizers, so the spot must be clear and free of overhead power lines. For cabins and containers we also need the lifting points, and whether the container really is empty.

How much does a 10-ton boom truck lift at 12–15 meters?
Usually less than 2 t, and it can drop to around a ton at full boom extension. The 10 t only applies 2–3 m from the crane column, so every long-reach lift is checked against the crane's load chart before the truck is sent.
