Planning lighting for night work

A mobile tower light illuminates a whole work area from one unit with a built-in diesel generator, its mast rising to about 9 metres to cover a wide radius without electrical cabling. One unit usually lights a medium work area; on large sites the units are placed around the perimeter to cover access routes and loading points without hard shadows.

Night concrete pours, excavation and roadworks need continuous light for long shifts, so tank capacity is measured in hours of running between refuels. We supply tower lights with delivery, commissioning and refuelling on request, and recommend the number of units from the size of the site.
